Spatial Modelling of Vineyard Erosion in the Neszmély Wine Region, Hungary Using Proximal Sensing

Intense soil erosion in the northern part of Gerecse Hills, Hungary, is causing significant damage to vineyards area. Three Neszmély Wine Region were investigated quantify amount eroded soils. The method was based on monitoring for one-year between July 2019 and June 2020. Every season, a set photographs taken from an unmanned aerial vehicle. images processed photogrammetric workflow produce high-resolution digital terrain models (DTMs) orthophotos, which used estimate loss using Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) model. Particular attention paid effect seasonal variation vegetation cover rainfall, control inter-row grassing already applied also modelled. results confirm extent intense summer rainfall has more compared autumn or winter rainfall.
